My rates are designed to be reasonable and affordable. Although cases may vary in complexity, I offer a number of flat-rate fees to simplify billing and make the process less stressful. Flat rates remove the worry about running up the bill every time you have to call to ask a question. The following is subject to change, and all fees are governed by a signed fee agreement upon retainer of my services.

All potential clients are entitled to a free consultation.
Flat fee rates include:
- legal research
- all communications and correspondence
- postage*
- preparation of all court pleadings or transactional documents
- court appearances
- local travel time**
* Postage is for Regular Mail, does not include costs Federal Express/UPS/DHL/USPS Express Mail.
Excessive costs for postage will be billed to the client except if the lateness is due to clerical error.
** Local travel includes travel in DC, and areas covered by WMATA Metrorail or Metrobus.
All fees, flat or hourly, do not include:
- filing fees
- excessive postage costs
- long distance travel
- investigator fees
- deposition costs
- expert witness fees
- excessive copying fees
- other costs for external services

Felonies – $1250 per felony count
Misdemeanors – $750 per misdemeanor count
Family Law
Uncontested Legal Separation or Divorce – $1000
Estate Planning
Wills & Trusts – starting at $500, depending on complexity of estate
Durable Power of Attorney – $175
Advance Medical Directive/Living Will – $175
Business Formation
Preparation of DC Licensing – $250
Bankruptcy
Chapter 7 – $500 – $1500, depending on complexity of estate
